Dr. Basyouny Mahdy

Dr. Basyouny Mahdy graduated from Faculty of Medicine, South Valley University 2013 “Excellent with Honors”, got his master degree 2018 “Very Good with Honors” with master thesis about the efficacy and predictors of testicular microdissection.
During residency he got his training of Andrology at the Assisted Reproduction Techniques (ART) unit in the International Islamic Center for Population Studies and Research (IICPSR), Alazhar University, Cairo.
In 2019, he got assigned as an assistant lecturer at faculty of Medicine, South Valley University trained in male infertility and male sexual health problems.
In 2020, he got Diploma of General Surgery at Alazhar university, Cairo; with special interest in therapeutic and aesthetic surgery of male genital system.
During the doctoral study, he completed Clinical Fellowship of Andrology at Papa Giovanni Hospital, Bergamo, Italy; focusing on microscopic testicular sperm extraction (Micro TESE) in male infertility and penile prosthesis implantation in erectile dysfunction.
Dr. Basyouny Mahdy is a member of International Society of Sexual Medicine (ISSM), European Society of Sexual Medicine (ESSM), Italian Society of Andrology and Egyptian Society of Andrology.
Currently, Dr. Basyouny Mahdy works as an assistant lecturer at Luxor University and a consultant of Andrology at Riyadh Fertility Centers.
