What is endometriosis?

• It also leads to the formation of severe adhesions, which causes blockage of the tubes and impedes the passage of sperm to the egg, and prevents its fertilization.
• Severe pain in the pelvic area and lower abdomen.
• Soreness and disturbances in the menstrual cycle.
• Feeling pain during intercourse.

Treatment of endometriosis

Treatment for endometriosis often depends on laparoscopy, as well as the shape and image in which it appears.

• Chocolate cyst: If endometriosis appears as cysts on the ovary, it is treated laparoscopically by removing and disposing of it while keeping the ovaries intact, and it is peeled and removed very carefully without causing any damage to the ovaries.
• Blood stains: If there are blood spots, they are treated laparoscopically by cauterization, to get rid of this tissue permanently.
•  Adhesions inside the pelvis: In cases of adhesions, endometriosis is treated with laparoscopy and dismantling adhesions, especially between the ovaries and tubes, which may be the cause of blockage of tubes and delayed childbearing.

Is endomicroscopy treatment sufficient?

Sometimes it may be an ideal and sufficient solution such as in cases of clogged pipes due to adhesions and also effective in the case of chocolate bags.

The woman needs a period of six months after the laparoscopic work and the removal of these adhesions until pregnancy occurs naturally, but if pregnancy does not occur naturally, assisted fertilization methods are resorted to, the best of which is ICSI.

Sometimes, after laparoscopic surgery, the doctor recommends taking some medications and treatments as a step of treatment and in preparation for ICSI.
